Janet Hanson is Pre-tax Benefits Product Manager within the Payment Solutions Group. Based in Sioux Falls, she has more than 18 years of combined experience within the health insurance and human resources fields. In her role with The Bancorp Bank, Hanson is responsible for coordinating the compliance and regulatory affairs of the Pre-tax Benefits programs.

Hanson most recently served as an Account Executive for Howalt-McDowell Insurance, Inc. where she was responsible for building strong client relationships, consulting with clients regarding their employee benefit programs and making recommendations based upon their needs. Hanson was also responsible for coordinating the implementation of insurance and employee benefit plans with insurance carriers and clients, compliance with federal regulations and risk assessments for clients.

Hanson holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of South Dakota.
